It all started back in 1972 when Gary MacDonald founded MacDonald Aluminum with a simple goal: to provide homeowners in Kitchener-Waterloo with top-quality exterior renovations and exceptional service.

Over the years, we've grown and evolved, yet our core values have remained the same:

In our early days, we specialized in aluminum products, helping homeowners transform their exteriors with durable siding, soffit, fascia and eavestrough.

As the industry evolved, so did we. In 1994 we officially became Rick Macdonald Siding & Windows Inc., expanding our offerings to include a full line of ENERGY STAR-Approved windows and doors. In 2015 we merged with Roofsaver Roofworks to expand our range of services for homeowners.
